Brazilian furniture sourcing intelligence, built by operators

Vista Furniture Co. is a boutique sourcing intelligence consultancy based in São Paulo, Brazil.
Founded in 2024, Vista helps international retailers, furniture brands, e-commerce companies, marketplaces, importers, hospitality groups and procurement teams identify, qualify and work with Brazilian furniture manufacturers.
We provide the local knowledge, factory access and documented analysis international buyers need before committing to a supplier, a purchase order or a new sourcing market.
We specialize exclusively in Brazilian furniture manufacturing, helping international buyers source from Brazil with greater clarity and lower risk.
Our role is to help buyers make better sourcing decisions before expensive problems reach production, shipping or the customer.

Why Vista exists
Brazil produces excellent furniture. It also has hundreds of manufacturers with very different capabilities, management cultures, production systems and levels of export readiness.
From outside the country, those differences can be difficult to see.
A factory may present a strong catalogue but lack the capacity, quality systems, packaging knowledge or management discipline required for a recurring international program. Another manufacturer may have the right technical capability but little international visibility.
Finding names is easy. Determining which manufacturer can reliably execute a specific product, volume, price point and delivery schedule requires local judgment.
Vista exists to make that judgment available to international buyers.
We do not simply provide lists of Brazilian furniture suppliers. We evaluate the relationship between the buyer’s requirements and the manufacturer’s actual capabilities.
What Vista Furniture Co. does
Vista supports international furniture sourcing projects across the stages that carry the greatest operational risk:
- Brazil category assessments and sourcing strategy
- Furniture manufacturer identification
- Supplier qualification and factory vetting
- Production capability assessment
- Commercial analysis of pricing, MOQs, lead times and payment terms
- Factory visits and technical meetings
- Product and collection development
- Design scouting and design curation
- Sample and prototype coordination
- Material, finish and construction review
- Packaging and e-commerce readiness
- Quality control coordination
- Pre-shipment verification
- Export-readiness assessment
- Documentation and logistics coordination with specialized partners
- Ongoing communication between buyers and Brazilian manufacturers
Our work can begin with an origin decision, when a company is still evaluating whether Brazil is right for a category. It can continue through supplier selection, product development, production follow-up and preparation for shipment.
Furniture categories
Vista works across Brazil’s main furniture manufacturing categories, including:
- Solid wood furniture
- Upholstered furniture
- RTA and flat-pack furniture
- MDF and MDP casegoods
- Dining, bedroom and living-room furniture
- Outdoor and patio furniture
- Office furniture
- Metal and mixed-material furniture
- Design-led and authored furniture
- Private-label and OEM collections
Different categories require different producing regions, factory structures and qualification criteria.
A solid wood manufacturer should not be assessed in the same way as an RTA factory. An upholstery supplier requires different controls from a metalworking operation. Vista’s work begins by understanding those differences.

Independent, buyer-side advice
Vista works for the international buyer.
We are not a furniture manufacturer, trader, marketplace, freight forwarder or seller of goods. We do not present a factory simply because it wants access to an international client.
Our professional fees are paid by the buyer. Vista does not depend on factory-side sales commissions to recommend one supplier over another.
Purchase orders and manufacturing agreements are normally executed directly between the client and the selected manufacturer. Vista provides sourcing intelligence, qualification, negotiation support and local coordination.
This structure allows us to say when a manufacturer is a strong fit, when additional development is required and when a factory should not be selected.
How we qualify a Brazilian furniture manufacturer
Factory qualification goes beyond product photographs and price lists.
Depending on the engagement, Vista may evaluate:
- Product and material specialization
- Machinery, production flow and internal capabilities
- Monthly capacity and available capacity
- Outsourced production processes
- Raw material sourcing and traceability
- Wood moisture control
- Joinery, construction and finishing standards
- Upholstery processes and consistency
- Quality-control systems
- Sampling and product-development capability
- Packaging specifications and testing
- E-commerce and parcel-delivery readiness
- Export history and documentation capability
- Product labelling and destination-market requirements
- MOQ, pricing structure and commercial terms
- Lead-time reliability
- Management responsiveness
- Communication and reporting discipline
- Ability to implement corrective actions
- Capacity to support repeat orders and long-term growth
Our furniture supplier audit checklist explains several of the criteria buyers should verify before selecting a manufacturer in Brazil.
Built from experience inside furniture retail
Vista was founded by professionals who had already worked on the buyer’s side of the furniture industry.
Before creating Vista, its founders spent more than a decade building and operating MUMA, a Brazilian design-furniture business that connected consumers and corporate clients with furniture designers, brands and manufacturers.
That experience involved product selection, supplier management, pricing, e-commerce, physical retail, logistics, customer service, technology, quality issues and the commercial consequences of supplier performance.
MUMA’s growth and retail strategy were covered by Exame. The company was also selected as Brazil’s 2023–2024 national winner in the Global Innovation Awards retail program organized by the International Housewares Association.
Vista turns that operating experience into a structured advisory service for international buyers.
